Nom Banh Jok Charity Event at the entrance to Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia was an incredible opportunity. It is truly hard to explain what we all experienced both together and individually during this dining event, Chef exchange, charity fundraiser, travel adventure and ultimately...a truly spiritual encounter. I have created this video, one of the most difficult ones that we've put together attempting to tell the complete story of this day without leaving anything out. Hope you enjoy!
In this episode, Chef Chris Holen and his travel partner Sean Besso head to Siem Reap, Cambodia in search of new flavors. They get more than they bargain for when they spend a day with local Chef Mengly Mork of Pinak Pou Restaurant. As it turns out, not only is the food incredible but the way food brings people together is the real take away from this story.
Our goal is to create opportunities, leading to collaborations and experiences between like-minded Chefs to get out of our own kitchens, travel and learn from one another.
